Dr. Scott Self
Dr. Self attended the University of Central Arkansas, earning a degree in Finance in 1991. He was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 1998. In June of 1996, he managed to convince Deana Coleman to become his bride, one of his greatest accomplishments.
In September of 1999, Dr. Self and his wife made Dyersburg, TN their new home, after they purchased the former practice of Dr. William F. Pierce. Since that time, Dr. Self has been very active in organized dentistry, their church and the community. He is particularly proud of his work as a member of the Dyersburg City School Board of Directors where he has served since 2009, and as an Assistant Scout Master with Troop 87 since 2010. Dr. Self and Deana are the proud parents of Coleman, Walton and Grant, and are especially thankful for the family’s recent addition, Ann Katherine, whom Coleman hijacked into marriage before she could get away. Outside of his family, Dr. Self has two great loves; Ole Miss and his best friend and faithful sidekick, Dixie, who can be found during business hours asleep in his office.
Dr. Angad Bindra
When you meet Dr. Bindra, you instantly feel like you’ve known him for years. He has an incredible ability to make his patients feel completely at ease by establishing a rapport and guiding them through the treatment. Dr. Bindra cares for his patients as if they were his own family, and his patients feel like family in no time at all.
Dr. Bindra grew up in Dyersburg and was drawn to health care because his father was an ENT physician. Like his father, Dr. Bindra wanted to work with his hands and help people, so dentistry seemed like a natural choice. While in dental school, he volunteered at free clinics across Tennessee. He then completed a dental residency in California, where he provided emergency care to patients as well as meeting the love of his life, Ami.
Dr. Bindra and Ami moved back to Dyersburg to be closer to his family. Outside of dentistry, he loves hiking, fishing, camping, and playing golf. He is also an automotive enthusiast who takes his truck off-roading on the weekends. When he is not outdoors exploring nature, you can find Dr. Bindra watching sports and dancing – he even competed on a few dance teams in college!
