Welcome to the
West Tennessee Dental Group
located in Dyersburg, TN.
We are very aware that the vast majority of people have negative feelings about visiting the dentist. We are equally aware that most of those negative feelings can be attributed to a past unfortunate dental experience. While we can't change your dental history, we can introduce you to a different way of approaching dentistry. We are committed to treating every patient that walks through our door as though they are a member of our family. We have found that developing personal relationships with our patients allows us to help them overcome their fears.
"Dr. Self, thank you so much for going above and beyond the call of duty by going to the nursing home to take care of my grandmother. There are not many doctors that would do that."

"Dr. Scott, I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate you and your staff. From the time we walked in the door, our experience was so pleasant. You have a gift with children and as a parent, I am grateful to you for the way you treated mine. Your staff is so kind and friendly and knowledgeable."

"Dr. Scott, saying thank you just isn't enough. I feel a deep need and obligation to say much more. Thank you so much for putting up with me and for being awesome at what you do."

"Dr. Scott, thank you for taking time out of your Sunday to come to our rescue once again. If my son makes it to adulthood with a full set of teeth it will only be by the grace of God and the wonderful skills of Dr. Self."

"Dr. Self, it is refreshing to do business with a man filled with Christian integrity. Kindness in the world today has become a rarity, and you have blessed me with your compassion and sincere care."

"Dr. Self, I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate you and your staff for making my dentist visit as pleasant as possible. You are definitely worth the 3 hour drive from Murfreesboro!"
- Angie C. -
"Dr. Scott, I have been a patient of yours for somewhere in the vicinity of a decade and I appreciate all that you've done for me, because as you know, being in the dentist chair is NOT my comfort zone. I don't care how much nitrous you pump into me, I will still be on edge to say the least. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about you and your people, thanks again."
